Is the music royalty-free and licensed? +
Library tracks are royalty-free and cleared for any use — you pay nothing extra and need no separate license. And if you have an Epidemic Sound subscription, you can connect it to also license ES tracks — alongside the library or instead of it. You choose.
How does it support Epidemic Sound? +
You connect your own Epidemic Sound API key, and EdiTed matches & licenses tracks from your ES catalog — alongside the royalty-free library, or instead of it. You decide which sources are active at any time via the source toggle.
Can it be used for any purpose? +
Yes. Every library track is royalty-free and usable for any purpose — including commercial, on YouTube, in ads, and in client projects — with no extra licensing and no limits.
Which editors does it work in? +
EdiTed Music runs right inside Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and the Web editor — same library, same AI matching, in whichever tool you already cut in. It reads your timeline, finds the track, and drops it straight onto your scene.
How does the AI choose a track? +
It watches your scene — mood, pace, energy, and where the cuts land — then matches the track that fits and lines up the best start point. You always see the match score and can refine in plain language or pick a different option.
Does it balance the music under my dialogue? +
Yes. EdiTed automatically ducks the music under voice so your dialogue stays clear, then lifts it back up in the gaps — no manual keyframing needed.
Do I need an Epidemic Sound account? +
No. The royalty-free library is built in and on by default — you can use EdiTed fully without any other subscription. Epidemic Sound is an optional add-on: if you already have a key, connect it to also license tracks from your ES catalog.
How do credits work, and can I cancel? +
Each track you generate uses credits — your 100 free credits cover roughly 10 songs. Pro tops you up to 600 credits a month, is billed monthly, and you can cancel anytime; Free stays free forever.
